How do I post the slides so they look seamless?+

What is the difference between 4:5 and 1:1 carousel slides?+
4:5 portrait slides (1080×1350) take up maximum screen space in the feed and get the most reach. 1:1 square slides (1080×1080) are the classic format. Both are sliced seamlessly — pick whichever fits your aesthetic.
What resolution should my source photo be?+
Wider is better. For a 3-slide 4:5 carousel the panorama is 3240×1350 pixels, so a source image at least that wide gives the crispest result. The tool cover-crops your photo to fill the panorama without distortion.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?+
No. All slicing happens locally in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images never leave your device.
